As I mentioned in a comment above, the font metrics is no longer used starting around FOP
1.0 (FOP always uses the font file itself), so you can remove the <font/> element from
your config. Also, I'd suggest you specify the fonts directory and store only the one wingdings.ttf
file in it (see the configuration file I attached).
