           Summary: AWT claims to support out-of-order: doesn't
           Product: Fop
           Version: all
          Platform: All
        OS/Version: All
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: awt renderer
        AssignedTo: fop-dev@xmlgraphics.apache.org
        ReportedBy: simon@simon-cozens.org

I've been using the AWT viewer to view a document and then using OS X's print
facilities to save as PDF. I am using fop trunk. Unfortunately, the pages appear
in a non-obvious order, both on the display and when printed.

Digging about in the source, I found this in
src/java/org/apache/fop/render/awt/AWTRenderer.java:

    /** @see org.apache.fop.render.Renderer */
    public boolean supportsOutOfOrder() {
        return true; // TODO true?
    }

I don't think it is true. Changing it to return false made fop behave sensibly,
although obviously it rendered all the pages before showing me anything.
