If you just get a white page, you can add something like "?fixIE=.pdf" to
the url.

here is a simple example which works for me with IE 5.0 en 5.5:


http://www.mediamagie.com/cocoondemo/foptest/source.xml?fixIE=.pdf

(it uses cocoon 1.8 and fop 0.13)

Does anyone know how to get an XML document using FOP to transform it to pdf
to display in internet explorer? It works fine in netscape but internet
explorer won't open it.
