I came back for my glasses. The command you want is:
cvs checkout -D "2000-07-11 18:43" xml-fop

Don't foget the public CVS access stuff:

cvs -d :pserver:anoncvs@xml.apache.org: somethingorother checkout -D
"2000-07-11 18:43" xml-fop

You can't do what you want over the web, except file by file (which if you
do that for PDFRender you probably fix a typo you made if you did it
manually before)

I really can't do such a checkout, bundle it up and post it because I'm
really, really late right now. Maybe monday? What compression does your
system understand (tar.gz? zip? .sea?)

I'm not really well versed in CVS, so I'm not sure what you mean. I guess
you're saying that in between the point versions there are other versions
that you can get to, but I'm using the web based cvs, and I don't think it
gives me that ability.

If you can think of anything else I can try to do, I'd really appreciate it.

Hey can you check out the CVS for five minutes after the PDFRenderer 1.21
patch was applied? It should still work with JDK 1.1.6 and also work with

Unless the real final fix was after that...

Subject: Printing to Postscript

I'm having troube printing to a postscript printer with fop_0_13_0 and JDK

I realize that this is fixed in fop_0_14_0, but, unfortutately fop_0_14_0
does not seem to work wtih JDK1.1.6. (For instance it uses the Vector
method add(Object) which wasn't added, as far as I can tell, until JDK1.2).

I've applied the changes for the PDFRenderer.java up until version 1.21,
which states in it's comments that it fixes printing to postscript printers.
This didn't work.

Does anyone know if there any other specific patches/versions of files that
I should apply/use in order to fix this problem?

Thanks for your time,
