Thanks for your help Kieron.  The w3c.jar file seems to be there though.
I've modified the build file slightly to output the entire classpath it's
using, with the following results - any other suggestions?

This most likely means that the jar file w3c.jar is not in the classpath.
The
build.bat file has it in the classpath and it should be in the lib/
directory.
Try making sure all your files are updated and that the w3c.ar is in the
classpath.
