The portlets
 - org.apache.jetspeed.portlets.selector.CategoryPortletSelector
 - org.apache.jetspeed.portlets.security.permissions.
SecurityPermissionsPortlet

both extends AbstractAdminDojoVelocityPortlet.

But as you say issue for 2.2.4

That reminds me: another potential issue for the roadmap - I believe 
Wicket
discontinued their portlet support.  So yes, I would say this is more of 
an
issue to be solved in 2.2.4.
