Hmm you may be right, here's the code I used :
            aProfile = Profiler.createProfile();
            aProfile.setUser(user);
            aProfile.setMediaType("html");
            try
            {
                ((JetspeedRunData)data).setProfile(
                    Profiler.createProfile(data, aProfile)
                );
            }
            catch (ProfileException e)
            {
				logger.error("PleiadesTurbineAuthentication : 
Failed to create profile for new user ", e);
            }

I thought the Profiler.createProfile(data, aProfile) stored the profile, as it 
is in fact in database. I'll try change it and call profile.store before call 
the setprofile on rundata.
