I added a dependency to the phoenix core POM for Snappy.. builds happily
now.

        <groupId>org.xerial.snappy</groupId>
        <artifactId>snappy-java</artifactId>
        <version>${snappy.version}</version>
      </dependency>

I think I'm using the right profile..

mvn -DskipTests -Dprofile=hadoop-2 package
