Subject [jira] [Commented] (LUCENENET-534) IndexWriter deletes all files in my global index folder
Date Thu, 09 Jan 2014 05:13:50 GMT

Simon Svensson commented on LUCENENET-534:

As I answered you on Stack Overflow; you do have some non-conventional handling of your indexes
and writers. This issue is most probably due to your implementation, how you handle your writers
and when you're committing them.

Could you provide a small stand-alone code sample with the minimal amount of code required
(with fake data) that can reproduce the problem?

disk directrory. After I commit global index writer,I see the files isn't combined.So when
I reopen the service,indexwriter deletes all files in global index folder. I traced codes
> "deleter = new IndexFileDeleter(directory, deletionPolicy == null?new KeepOnlyLastCommitDeletionPolicy():deletionPolicy,
segmentInfos, infoStream, docWriter, synced);" in IndexWriter Init method,it deletes all file
