Date Sat, 06 Mar 2010 20:38:27 GMT

     [ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/LUCENENET-147?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel
]

Digy closed LUCENENET-147.
--------------------------

    Resolution: Incomplete

No test case showing the bug, no patch to fix, so I will close the issue as "incomplete".

If you think that this bug still exists in Lucene.Net 2.9 also, feel free to reopen this issue
with more details.(That would probably mean Lucene Java also suffers from the same bug)

> It appears that field boost is only supported for regular field query and not for special
queries such as PrefixQuery, FuzzyQuery, RangeQuery, etc. Compare GetFieldQuery() and GetPrefixQuery()
implementations for details. I believe this is bug as it MultiFieldQuery only applies the
boost to the tearm "canon" and not "reb*" in the query "canon reb*".
