Subject [jira] Commented: (LUCENENET-225) TestBoostsSimpleFails

Nicholas Paldino commented on LUCENENET-225:

You misinterpreted what I said. I don't expect an auto-application of the patch.

I was asking for what the clarification was on the <author> tag, and you provided that,
thank you.

As for the statement, note it was about the patch being automatically EXCLUDED not automatically
INCLUDED, which is a big difference.

I expect the patch to be under review of course, but if it's going to be automatically EXCLUDED
for a reason, then I want a very clear statement as to what that reason is, which you were
not clear on in the initial post, you said it wasn't the "common way" (which sounds more like
guidance than a hard and fast rule), as well as the license (which is a hard and fast rule,
but one I didn't violate in doing what I did).

Also, it's not personal, because I'm new it's a matter of finding out what the most efficient
way to get things done within this group is.

> TestBoostsSimple fails because the overload of ToString on the query (which calls ToString
for the boost which is a float) doesn't properly mimic the Java implementation.
