If I understand correctly, your patch add a transitive attributes used when you are using
roots module.

I'm not sure about the name of the attribute.  It might be confusing for the user that might
understand that transitive say to transitively consider dependencies even when they are not
in the list of modules to sort.

Unfortunately, I don't find a better name.  Maybe somthing like 'onlyrootsdirectdependencies'
or 'onlydirectdep'.  Does anyone have a better idea?
