Date Thu, 20 Aug 2015 07:06:46 GMT

Udantha commented on COMDEV-119:

You can find Documentation regard zeppelin GSOC on here[1].
In Here I have completed POC that can switch chart libraries (google chart, highchart and
nvd3 chart)
I have fixed grunt test which was broken in zeppelin web app and here is PR on fix[2,3]
I have added new chart library for Map visualization with leaflet[4] and documentation[5]
was updated on 'how add new chart library/types for zeppelin'
I have add new data validation services with covering all the chart types in zeppelin. It
is extendable.[4] and it also documented in zeppelin doc[5] also.

> Zeppelin frontend web application already have rich visualization library based on D3.
> The goal of this Google Summer of Code project is to add more visualizations from the
wide range of existing ones in D3.
> This might be a good opportunity for a students, interested in data visualization to
learn industry standard tools.
> Stunents are welcome to reach out Zeppelin community via its developers mailing list
to discuss the dtails, see
