Subject Re: [VOTE] Release Ant 1.10.3 based on RC1
Date Sat, 24 Mar 2018 06:07:34 GMT
+1. Except for a documentation issue which I explain below, rest all
looks fine. I'm not sure if for the documentation fix (which I have
pushed upstream) we need to redo a new RC release.

- Downloaded apache-ant-1.10.3-bin.tar.gz
- set ANT_HOME to this version and built ant-ivy repo (ant clean jar)
using this version - ALL OK (previous 1.10.2 was failing with a
compilation error as noted in [1])
- Checked out lucene-solr repo[2] and ran "ant compile" - LOOKS FINE (no
longer fails with NPE as reported in [3]. I didn't test the whole build
process of that repo though)
- Read through the junitlauncher manual. Verified its usage as
documented against a local project which uses a combination of JUnit4
and JUnit5 tests. Ran the tests using this new task and verified the
results and formatted results. - ALL OK except a documentation issue.
The doc issue in the junitlauncher task documentation about nested
classpath element has now been fixed upstream[4] a few minutes back.
