Summary: <xmlvalidate>/<schemavalidate> would gain from a grammar
                    caching
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.7Alpha (nightly)
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: P2
         Component: Optional Tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: stevel@apache.org

A post on ant-user has drawn my attention to Xerces grammar caching:
http://xerces.apache.org/xerces2-j/faq-grammars.html

This caches preparsed DTDs and XSDs for faster reuse, and make a schemavalidate
of **/*.xml much, much faster if you are doing complex schemas.

For proper use we'd want to cache for the entire task, and only for a specific
instance (obviously), feeding it in to the parser if it supports it.

Clearly a ant1.7.1 feature
