Hi!

Thanks for the prompt answer.
I didn't know that the behaviour of the "fail" task has changed.
Until version 1.5.4 the following sample script only printed "BUILD FAILED".

1: <project default="y">
2:  <target name="x">
3:    <property name="z" value="set"/>
4:    <fail if="z"></fail>
5:  </target>
6:  <target name="y">
7:    <antcall target="x"/>
8:  </target>
9: </project>

Result for Ant 1.6.x:
BUILD FAILED
/home/preilly/learning/ant/fail.xml:7: Following error occured while executing
this line
/home/preilly/learning/ant/fail.xml:4: if=z

This looked like an error for me, especially because the printed line number is 
not always correct.
