Subject [jira] [Commented] (SIS-11) Basic CLI for SIS
Date Mon, 12 Mar 2012 12:13:39 GMT

Adam Estrada commented on SIS-11:

for bbox, I would like to see minx, maxx, miny, maxy which is along the lines of some of the
more popular APIs out there. I use the OpenStreetMap export tab in their web page to get my
test bounds.

> We should build a basic CLI for SIS. The CLI would be something of the form:
> sis [options]
> where options are any one of:
> -l load data from SIS qtree file, should be used in conjunction with -georss, -radius
or -bbox
> -h show help message
> -bbox <point> <westbc> <northbc> <eastbc> <southbc>
> -georss Output the currently loaded (from -l) SIS qtree in georss format to stdout
> -d <lat1> <lon1> <lat2> <lon2> Computes the Earth's distance
(using the EPS84 elipsoid and the Haversine/Great Cricle distance) between any 2 lat/lons
> -radius <lat> <lon> <km> Used in conjunction with data loaded from
-l, will present a subset of qtree data that is within provided km of provided lat,lon and
output to stdout
