Well, OK, there were some updates for changed APIs in 1.1.1, but that doesn't mean everything
will work out of the box on all platforms. The 1.4.x branch has been tested on Windows with
OpenSSL 1.1.1, and the new CMake build should make things easier on that platform, too.

Please can you just try it and let us know if it works for you?
