Subject [jira] [Resolved] (SERF-134) Buckets v2 check doesn't work on Linux in the test suite (test_aggregate_buckets fails)
Date Sun, 01 Nov 2015 19:36:27 GMT

Bert Huijben resolved SERF-134.
-------------------------------
       Resolution: Fixed
    Fix Version/s: serf-1.4.0

I think I finally got this fixed with r1711833, r1711835 which makes us explicitly link to
the static library version in the testsuite.

This finally fixes the problems for me on FreeBSD.

The fix is not to link the library with the usual '-lserf-2', but by just passing the .a file
as a source for the resulting binary. I wish I found out about this too simple solution a
year ago.
