Subject [jira] [Created] (RIPPLE-100) Battery Status - Battery low and critical listeners seem not to work in emulator
Date Tue, 08 Sep 2015 19:21:46 GMT
Julian Horn created RIPPLE-100:
----------------------------------

Summary: Battery Status - Battery low and critical listeners seem not to work
in emulator
                 Key: RIPPLE-100
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/RIPPLE-100
             Project: Apache Ripple
          Issue Type: Bug
            Reporter: Julian Horn
            Assignee: Julian Horn

Users have complained that the battery status events don't work in the emulator. Actually
this isn't completely true. If you set the battery level to exactly 20 then the emulator will
trigger a battery low event. Similarly if the set the level to exactly 5 then the emulator
will trigger a battery critical event.

The problem is, this model is not intuitive. Users expect that if you drag the battery status
slider from 25 to 15 then you will get a battery low event.

I have fixed this issue in the Intel XDK and I can supply the fix as a pull request.
