Date Sat, 23 May 2009 04:07:54 GMT
Hi Jetspeed Team and Community,

I've staged the binary release candidates for the new Apache Portals
Jetspeed 2.2.0 Distribution release here:

http://people.apache.org/~taylor/JETSPEED-RELEASE-2.2.0/

The distribution is made up of two installers, both including a Tomcat
6 application server
and two Enterprise EAR files ready to install and tested on Websphere
Application Server.

1. Demo installer - a sample portal with different views of the portal
site for different users, and several portlet applications:

* Jetspeed Demo Portlet Application
* RSS Portlet Application
* Web Content Portlet Application
* Database Browser Portlet Application
* Jetspeed Administration Portlet Application

http://people.apache.org/~taylor/JETSPEED-RELEASE-2.2.0/jetspeed-installer-demo-2.2.0.jar

2. Minimal installer - a minimal portal with a select set of features
demonstrated and one portlet application:

* Jetspeed Administration Portlet Application

http://people.apache.org/~taylor/JETSPEED-RELEASE-2.2.0/jetspeed-installer-minimal-2.2.0.jar

3. Demo Enterprise EAR - a deployable EAR Demo Distribution (same
applications as the Demo installer)

http://people.apache.org/~taylor/JETSPEED-RELEASE-2.2.0/jetspeed-enterprise-full-2.2.0.ear

4. Minimal Enterprise EAR - a minimal deployable EAR Distribution
(same applications as the Minimal installer)

http://people.apache.org/~taylor/JETSPEED-RELEASE-2.2.0/jetspeed-enterprise-min-2.2.0.ear

Please review the release candidates and vote on releasing Apache
Portals Jetspeed 2.2.0.
This vote is open for the next 72 hours.

Please cast your vote:

[ ] +1 for Release
[ ]  0  for Don't care
[ ] -1 Don't release (do provide a reason then)

Regards
David
