Subject Eclipse with Maven2 classpath problems
Date Sat, 02 Jun 2007 15:33:24 GMT
Hi folks,
I have some problems with Jetspeed's Eclipse classpath. I am using Maven2
for building the Jetspeed so I use the m2.classpath delivered by Jetspeed
at /etc/editors.
At /etc/editors there is another classpath - 2.1.maven2.classpath which
does not contain most of the problems that I found at m2.classpath but is
using older dependencies.
What is the difference between 2.1.maven2.classpath and m2.classpath?

Here are the problems that I faced with m2.classpath:

<classpathentry kind="var" path="M2_REPO/mockrunner/mockrunner/0.2.7
/mockrunner-0.3.8.jar"/>
I renamed it (changed version to 0.3.8) to
<classpathentry kind="var" path="M2_REPO/mockrunner/mockrunner/0.3.8
/mockrunner-0.3.8.jar"/>

I downloaded this dependency manually. Is the dependency path
(cglib-full/2.0.2/cglib-2.1_3.jar) correct?
<classpathentry path="M2_REPO/cglib/cglib-full/2.0.2/cglib-2.1_3.jar"
kind="var"/>
I downloaded this dependecy form
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=56933 because I did
not find it in any Maven2 repository. Is this correct?

hsqldb-1.8.0.2 dependency is missing at Bluesunrise's maven2 repository..
I download it from Bluesunrise's Maven1 repository.. could we moved to
1.8.0.7
version which is contained in ibiblio..
I think this could be a problem at 2.1.maven2.classpath, too.
<classpathentry kind="var"
path="M2_REPO/hsqldb/hsqldb/1.8.0.2/hsqldb-1.8.0.2.jar"/>

<classpathentry kind="var"
path="M2_REPO/jmock/jmock/1.0.1/mock-1.0.1.jar"/>
I renamed it to
<classpathentry kind="var" path="M2_REPO/jmock/jmock/1.0.1/j
mock-1.0.1.jar"/>

I move myfaces to 1.1.5?
Jetspeeds pom: <myfaces.version>1.1.5<myfaces.version>
In the bluesunrise maven2 repository there is no 1.1.4 version for
myfaces, it is available only at maven1 repository.
2.1.maven2.classpath is using myfaces 1.1.0 ?
<classpathentry kind="var"
path="M2_REPO/myfaces/myfaces-api/1.1.0/myfaces-api-1.1.4.jar"/>
<classpathentry kind="var"
path="M2_REPO/myfaces/myfaces-impl/1.1.0/myfaces-impl-1.1.4.jar"/>
<classpathentry kind="var"
path="M2_REPO/myfaces/tomahawk/1.1.0/tomahawk-1.1.4.jar"/>

<classpathentry
path="M2_REPO/myfaces/myfaces-api/1.1.5/myfaces-api-1.1.5.jar"
kind="var"/>
<classpathentry
path="M2_REPO/myfaces/myfaces-impl/1.1.5/myfaces-impl-1.1.5.jar"
kind="var"/>
<classpathentry path="M2_REPO/myfaces/tomahawk/1.1.5/tomahawk-1.1.5.jar"
kind="var"/>

xml-apis jar is missing at bluesunrise maven2 repository so the maven
downloads only the pom and sha1 files.
I think this could be a problem at 2.1.maven2.classpath, too.
http://www.bluesunrise.com/maven2/xml-apis/xml-apis/2.0.2/
<classpathentry kind="var"
path="M2_REPO/xml-apis/xml-apis/2.0.2/xml-apis-2.0.2.jar"/>
