hi watler,
  It is not creating the Torque.properties at all inside C:\JetSpeed\apache-tomcat-5.5.17\webapps\jetspeed\WEB-INF\conf
. When i change the database to mysql, it gives the following error. how do i need to create
the "j2" production database (for mysql). Please let me know wat could be the reason y its
not creating the Torque.properties and how to create the "2" database.

  This is how my build.properties database properties look like.

  Do u think those files need any changes. please let me know if you know the solution to
rectify those problems.

Are you intending to use the HSQLDB? If not, please check your
build.properties configuration.

This error is caused by an inability to login to or query the database
configured there.
