Subject [jira] Commented: (JS2-395) DB Page Manager
Date Tue, 08 Nov 2005 19:21:20 GMT

Randy Watler commented on JS2-395:

Distributed caching will be required to make this feature work well in a clustered environment.
The problem at the moment is that OJB caching is turned off by default in J2. This means that
there will again be an internal cache implemented within the PageManager. This cache will
have to be aged in some manner because it will not be distributed until a J2 wide cache is
implemented. A distibuted cache implementation may or may not be addressed by 2.0-FINAL.
