That would be an excellent enhancement (and it's on my loooong list of todo's). 
The user should be able to maintain multiple profiles. Ideally, the PSML 
browser should be enhanced to display only psml that the user has access to. I 
know that checking security for each psml could be a time consuming operation 
so that's one of the issues that has to be dealt with.

The reference browser (in the portlet set customizer) should be replaced by 
this enhaced PSML browser.

Ability to maintain multiple profiles would promote the concept of "community 
views". The user would "expose" specific psml for "subscription" by other 
users. This feature would allow Jetspeed to better compete with other 
commercial portals offering similar functionality (WPS, plumtree).
