Subject Re: Upgrade from Phoenix 4.4.0-hbase-1.1 to 4.8.0-hbase-1.1 Error
Date Thu, 06 Apr 2017 05:09:47 GMT
Hi,

It was an error on my side. I didn't remove the configs specified in the
release notes: https://phoenix.apache.org/release_notes.html

<property>
  <name>hbase.master.loadbalancer.class</name>
  <value>org.apache.phoenix.hbase.index.balancer.IndexLoadBalancer</value>
</property>
<property>
  <name>hbase.coprocessor.master.classes</name>
  <value>org.apache.phoenix.hbase.index.master.IndexMasterObserver</value>
</property>
<property>
  <name>hbase.coprocessor.regionserver.classes</name>
  <value>org.apache.hadoop.hbase.regionserver.LocalIndexMerger</value>
</property>

I was able to connect upon removing those.

Thanks!
