Subject Odd failure upgrading from 4.1 to 4.7
Date Thu, 23 Jun 2016 23:03:33 GMT
Hi,

I was wondering whether or not the ordinal_position matters for the IS_ROW_TIMESTAMP column
(or any other column) in SYSTEM.CATALOG? I might need to manually create that column but because
I ran into what seems to be a partially successful upgrade going from 4.1 to 4.7.

I actually hit this bug first https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-2664 and after
applying that patch, my initial connection attempt hits the same error message as this previous
thread:
https://mail-archives.apache.org/mod_mbox/phoenix-user/201604.mbox/%3C67AAC293DD082B4E95F26ECB78C1C219482E36E2@PC1WEPSIEXDAG01.corp.epsilon.com%3E

I'm debating if I should try rolling back the timestamp to attempt the upgrade again or if
I can just add the column manually.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
