Hi Anil,

This issue was resolved a while back, via this ticket:
https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/PHOENIX-2238

Unfortunately, that fix is only available starting from Phoenix 4.6
and 4.5.3 (i.e. it wasn't back-ported to 4.4.x).
