I am new to phoenix, could you advice where to set the JDBC connector string in Phoenix? 
is it in some configuration of Phoenix?

 and include the port number in the JDBC connector string:

jdbc:phoenix [ :<zookeeper quorum> [:<port number  > ] [ :/hbase ]]
