Subject RE: Anybody home?

The original mail from Rich Bowen simply asked:
Please respond, immediately, copying board@apache.org on your response, to tell us what's
going on with you folks. Thanks.

Laimonas/Shannon perhaps you can just copy the board with the status update below? Seems like
a good start.

For my part, I'm an engineer on Microsoft Power BI and we're actually using Lucene.Net 4.8
in our production service and shipping with our Power BI Desktop product to support some aspects
of our natural language data query "Q&A" feature. It's a fairly narrow use of Lucene.Net
that doesn't quite match the typical "document search index" scenarios but it's been useful
to us. I've been intending to reach out to our legal team to clear up anything we need to
do to contribute to the project but have been swamped with other work/life demands... for
better or worse we haven't had any serious issues with Lucene.Net 4.8 so far which has reduced
the immediate need (from Microsoft's perspective anyway) to actively contribute--but I would
like to be more involved.

Aaron Meyers
Principal Software Engineer, Microsoft Power BI

Hi,

I imagine that the Reports page in the wiki-page is relevant.
I'm not sure what "located in foundation/board/" refers to.

I pulled out of some old emails, but there have been changes to teamcity infrastructure and
I don't know if that integration still lives or how it works anymore. I think Wyatt Barnett
set it up... if you're still lurking Wyatt..
