Subject RE: Using Lucene.NET in .NET Core

Hi Daniel,

I have the code migration completed on my fork but need to merge in a couple of PRs before
merging it into master. I am hoping to be done in a few weeks given that the tests are passing
and the PR review goes well.

- PR: Move tests to xUnit from NUnit
- PR: .NET Core (https://github.com/conniey/lucenenet/tree/move2dnx)

Connie

Subject: Using Lucene.NET in .NET Core

Hello,

I saw this announcement citing that the latest builds were more or less ready for .NET Core
- https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=http%3a%2f%2fcode972.com%2fblog%2f2016%2f07%2f98-lucene-net-4-8-is-in-beta-and-we-need-your-help&data=02%7c01%7cconniey%40microsoft.com%7cae70770ca024452af31808d3dd1c5272%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1%7c0%7c636095086119148060&sdata=b9z6SvPaNZYNGgxVbCtcjH54vYHoValDwsclTHKDQ00%3d

However, the myGet repository referred to in the post does not have a .NETStandard distribution,
so there isn't currently a way to consume it, as far as I can see.

What are the steps involved (or timeline) for testing the beta in .NET Core (i.e. .NETStandard
1.6)

Thanks,

Daniel
