If you are referring to strong name signing, you may find the following project useful to allow
you to consume unsigned dependencies from a project signed with a strong name: https://github.com/dsplaisted/strongnamer

We are not going to sign https://na01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=Lucene.NET&data=01%7c01%7cdaplaist%40microsoft.com%7cc27ecfaf297d4294b2db08d34284e24c%7c72f988bf86f141af91ab2d7cd011db47%7c1&sdata=I6yUoROc1HxodkXr9lN4mVCE06k%2fe6CZ5t%2f7Ymfuc8w%3d
4.x. You can use the 3.x version, which is released signed.
