Hi Ben,

A few points about test.
1- Enable caching & ensure that your queries are unique. Is this legitimate?
2- Make your test with 40 facets. You may see a huge difference between these approaches.
3- And the most important one, openBitSet.Cardinality is toooo slow. If you repeat the tests
   without "resultBitSet.Cardinality()", you will see the cost of it. 
   I am trying to figure out how to handle this.
