Subject how to redirect log4cxx console messages
Date Mon, 24 Feb 2014 11:53:00 GMT
Hi ,
If there is any error in configuration file (either xml or properties
file), log4cxx displays the error in console. eg , i modified my program and
xml configuration file to display following two errors

log4cxx: No appender could be found for logger (functionA).
log4cxx: Please initialize the log4cxx system properly.

Both the messages were displayed in console. But, i am designing my
application which uses log4cxx, in such a way that it won't have any console
window. In such a case where the messages logged ?

This is required for debugging to check what's wrong. Without the
messages it will be difficult to identify what's the error.

Also, does log4cxx throw any exceptions which can be handled in the
application which uses it ?

Regards,
Nandan
