Subject [jira] Commented: (IVY-373) Add options to control output of <ivy:resolve>
Date Wed, 10 Jan 2007 21:16:27 GMT

John Williams commented on IVY-373:

Pluggable output sounds great, assuming some reasonable output types are available out of
the box. My most pressing need is sorted output; I've attached a patch that adds sorted output
in addition to the real-time resolution output. It's redundant of course but I think it's
worth it to have both kinds of output.

> The <ivy:resolve> task creates very long output sometimes. It would be nice to
suppress this output (unless ant is run in verbose) mode. It would also be helpful if there
were an option to sort the list of modules by organization and name instead of just listing
them as they are resolved; this would make it much easier to scan the output to determine
which version of a particular module is in use.
