Dear Seetharam,
I'm trying to build the release, but unfortunately it has failed:
[ERROR] Failed to execute goal
org.codehaus.mojo:exec-maven-plugin:1.1:exec (BUILD-OOZIE) on project
build-tools: Result of /bin/sh -c cd
/home/sergio/tmp/falcon/falcon-sources-0.4-incubating/build-tools &&
src/bin/oozie-patch-pkg.sh execution is: '1'. -> [Help 1]
org.apache.maven.lifecycle.LifecycleExecutionException: Failed to
execute goal org.codehaus.mojo:exec-maven-plugin:1.1:exec (BUILD-OOZIE)
on project build-tools: Result of /bin/sh -c cd
/home/sergio/tmp/falcon/falcon-sources-0.4-incubating/build-tools &&
src/bin/oozie-patch-pkg.sh execution is: '1'
Looking to the script is failing, it looks your are trying to manually
install a maven dependency. I don't have background about the task, but
I'm pretty sure there a re better ways to it. Later I'll try to find
time to send you alternatives.
The concrete environment where I'm trying to build the release is:
OS name: "linux", version: "3.10-3-amd64", arch: "amd64", family: "unix"
And I'm using this command at the root of the sources:
mvn clean install -Dmaven.repo.local=/tmp/falcon
Please, let me know if there is something I'm doing wrong on building
the release, to then continue with my checking for the vote.
One more thing, does the release also include binary packages? Because
I've notice the distribution area also contains:
http://people.apache.org/~venkatesh/falcon-0.4-incubating-rc2/binary/
which was not referenced in the vote mail, and may involve a more closed
check to L&N files if binaries are part of the official release.
Thanks.
Kind regards,
