Hi Roy, As usual over at the Incubator we're having discussion about how to make things work better. One problem is with the struggle that some podling releases have at getting 3 binding votes from Incubator PMC members. One solution to that could be to change the rules so that for podling releases only one binding Incubator PMC vote is required as long as there are at least 3 +1 votes on the release and more +1s than -1s. Is this something that you would consider approving of? Thanks for helping, ...ant ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Joseph Schaefer Date: Sun, Nov 10, 2013 at 3:34 PM Subject: Re: Cultivating Outstanding IP Stewards To: general@incubator.apache.org Unlikely to get at least Roy=92s approval because release votes are expected to be a decision of the full committee, not any one member of it.
