I quite like the 3 column layout, as it's very easy to find a specific podling.

The RH column is relatively narrow, so does not compress the main
column too much.

Indeed without it, the main column is too wide on my screen, making it
more difficult to read, as the end of the line is so far from the
beginning of the next.

For my screen (1440x900), it would be necessary to split the main part
into two columns to improve readability.

The list of podling names-only is very easy to scan, whereas the
summary page is hard work, and very long.
Should probably be split into multiple pages for the different sections.

If it is decided to drop the RH column, then I think it would be
useful to have a multi-column list of the names on the home page.

But I totally agree with moving search and dropping the additional
Thanks link; that would look a lot better.

The need to update all the pages every time the list of podlings
changes could be eliminated by using a frame or some other means.
