Excalibur is similar -- 'client' apache projects such as cocoon and james
get commit rights to the repository but are not "committers".

Gump is also similar -- all apache committers get commit rights to the
repository. I can't for the life of me remember the last time there was
something resembling a formal vote by "gump committers". I don't think
we really define "gump committer".

I don't think a somewhat blurred or non-standard picture here is all bad,
as long as its an actual picture.
