 (a) In what what is the Logging PMC managing the project?
What makes log4__ part of Logging other than a common-ish API?
 (b) What about community development?

As a general rule, developing community is essential to the long-term
viability of a project. And in the case of Loggging, it sounds as if you've
really got an ontological collection of otherwise unrelated projects, which
at the least means that each needs community development.

Dw addressed the rest of your issues, and I'm in agreement with him, so I'll
leave his words to stand.

Whatever they wish to say. One thing that I like about the Incubator is
that it provides a focal point for discussing ASF practices.
