Subject Collector node stops listening on some of it's rpcSource ports
Date Wed, 05 Oct 2011 16:05:01 GMT
Hi Flume-users list.

We have an issue where one or both of our multiple collectors will stop
listening on one of it's rpcSource ports. The error logs on the collector
node look like this:

2011-10-04 23:23:37,063 ERROR com.cloudera.flume.agent.LogicalNode:
Forcing driver to exit uncleanly
2011-10-04 23:23:37,063 ERROR
com.cloudera.flume.handlers.thrift.ThriftEventSource: Unexpected interrupt
of close sleep interrupted
java.lang.InterruptedException: sleep interrupted
        at java.lang.Thread.sleep(Native Method)
        at
com.cloudera.flume.handlers.thrift.ThriftEventSource.close(ThriftEventSourc
e.java:191)
        at
com.cloudera.flume.core.connector.DirectDriver$PumperThread.run(DirectDrive
r.java:125)

And the error logs on the client mirror those detailed here:

https://issues.cloudera.org/browse/FLUME-711

Although reconfiguration of a logical node may trigger this issue, it can
surface when no reconfiguration has occurred.

Is this a known issue?

Thank you
Joseph Hammerman
