Subject [jira] [Commented] (COMDEV-177) Don't store derived data files in SVN
Date Mon, 16 Nov 2015 12:01:10 GMT

Sebb commented on COMDEV-177:

It may make sense to create a separate journal of the relevant LDAP groups, from which the
accounts-evolution can be derived.
This data could have additional uses, and it would simplify matters if the data that needs
to be stored in VCS were in a separate location.

are derived from other data that is stored in SVN and can be readily recreated. There seems
little point in storing the derived data in SVN again.

are not part of a VCS; these must be kept in SVN because it is not possible to recreate them

anywhere AFAIK.
