Wendy - Thank you very much for the quick reply.

I tried your suggestions.  First the path is correct in archiva.xml.

I removed the .index* directories

I removed the archiva database.

Touched all files in internal

Started Archiva

Checked Process All Artifacts and then clicked on the Scan Repository
Button.  

The log shows the same error:
