I'm not a committer, so it's not like my objections really matter...

Anyway, it's not so much that I think it's a waste of time as I think it's an
unnecessary complication of a very simple task and of dubious value to the
larger Ant community.

Granted I'm not familiar with your particular problem, but it seems to me that
it would be far easier to just unzip the file(s) from the proper archive(s) and
use import, as opposed to trying to extract them with <get>.

Is it that you don't know which archive the files(s) are going to be in?
