Summary: compareTo method in CompressedResource does not take
comparison with another CompressedResouce into account.
Product: Ant
Version: 1.7.0Beta3
Platform: Other
OS/Version: All
Status: NEW
Severity: normal
Priority: P2
Component: Core
AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
ReportedBy: jkf@apache.org
The compareTo method of the CompressedResouce (used in equality checks) will not
return 0 even when comparing to self. This because always the resource inside
the compressedresource is compared to the supplied parameter.
This leads to failing testcases when testing on JDK 1.3 as the hashmap
apparently does not check on == before equals, which is apparently done on JDK
1.4 and later.
