           Summary: javadoc packageset fails unless class in first first
                    package directory
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.6.5
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Windows 2000
            Status: NEW
          Severity: normal
          Priority: P2
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: shawn.garner@pearson.com

I only had classes in a sub package for example
package com.myorg.mypackage

The following failed when I didn't have any class files in the base "com"
package directory:

<javadoc author="true" sourcepath="${java.inttest.src}"
includenosourcepackages="true">
			<packageset dir="${java.inttest.src}"
defaultexcludes="yes">
				<include name="com/**" />
			</packageset>

			<doclet name="UnitDocHTML"
path="${unittestplan.doclet}">
				<param name="-dirname"
value="${java.inttest.cases}" />
				<param name="-projpre" value="CSRDR_Web_ITC_" />
			</doclet>

			<classpath refid="inttest.class.path" />
		</javadoc>

However I refactord a base class into the com package and everything works fine
and it finds my classes in the com.myorg.mypackage package.

I shouldn't have to have any classes in the first package to get it to find the
classes in the sub packages.

Shawn
