ANT replaces 'space character' with '%20 '

Summary: ANT replaces 'space character' with '%20 '
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5.4
          Platform: PC
               URL: http://http://
        OS/Version: Windows NT/2K
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Major
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: jackwang@ca.ibm.com

If the target file path contains spaces, then ANT replaces all the 'space
charater' with '%20'. When running ANT from the command line, it complains the
corresponding target files could not be found due to '%20'.
