<untar> does not untar symbolic links properly

Summary: <untar> does not untar symbolic links properly
           Product: Ant
           Version: 1.5.1
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Normal
          Priority: Other
         Component: Core tasks
        AssignedTo: dev@ant.apache.org
        ReportedBy: s.jain@gtisoft.com

The <untar> task does not properly restore the symbolic link from the tar. On
Unix (I tried on Linux and SGI), I created a tar with a symbolic link in it. I
can untar this file fine with "tar xvf <file.tar>" command but using <untar>
command, the links are created as regular files with 0 (zero) size.
