I don't think I understand what you want Ant to do.

Point to a directory and then Ant should do what?

* Grab all classes and see whether they have a public no-arg execute method.  If
so <taskdef> it (under what name?)

* If above is false, <typedef> it (under what name?).

This cannot really be what you are asking for.
